Ana is an experienced professional in both the profit and nonprofit finance accounting industries. She was born in Boston, and spent most of her teenage years in Greece. Her deep sense of commitment and passion to help people, especially seniors, comes from her spending so much time with her grandmother when she was raising her; and more recently when she became her father’s care giver later in his life. Seniors may have a special place in Ana’s heart but also the all less fortunate people in our community. This is evident in her work with affordable housing and grant funding. When Ana graduated Boston University in 1999 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management, She immediately started working in the finance sector. She has held many senior positions in finance. Currently she is Director of Finance for Caritas Communities, a nonprofit housing provider for homeless and very low income individuals. Ana has also worked as a senior auditor for a CPA audit firm. Ana’s comprehensive background, spanning various financial roles in the nonprofit financial industries, equips her with the expertise and passion necessary to assist Hellenic Womens’ Benevolent association (HWBA) Board of Directors and the long term care industry.
